Maureen's Exhibit

Maureen tells us about herself: I have been quilting for about 3 years. I really enjoy designing on the computer..I have been married for 13 years and have 3 kids..A daughter who is 12 and two sons 11 and 5. Both of the older two want to make quilts themselves..and have been sewing for about 2 years. I live in Eastern Montana, and have all my life..grew up about 50 miles from where i now live. Couldn't imaging living anywhere else, although I love to travel.

The Enchanted Sampler 94" x 94"

 Maker: Maureen Whitmer

Maureen writes: I was looking for a "different" way to set sampler blocks and had a set of 9 blocks I wanted to use. I had seen a setting like this somewhere and drew it out in EQ3. The reason it is called the Enchanted Sampler is simply because the Quilt Shop that put on the swap /challenge is called the Enchanted Room. It utilizes both straight set and on point set blocks in the same quilt.
