About the Company and their Authors

Rupert, Gibbon, and Spider are the creators of Jacquard Products. They started as batik artists in the mid 70's and formed their manufacturing business when they could not find the dyes they wanted. The company is named after two pet monkeys and a pet ape from our founder's childhood home.

Kim is an artist that writes a variety "How to" projects for Jacquard on-line. She recently was appointed the position of Director of Marketing and Sales for Jacquard.

Sue Stover is an artist that works in a variety of mediums including textiles, furniture, sculpture and painting. She holds both a Bachlor of Fine Arts and a Master of Fine Arts degree concentrated in textiles. Her love of pattern and texture carries over to the other mediums as well. Sue has taught classes and workshops nationally and in Mexico. She currently works part-time in her studio and the other part of the time as a designer (among other things) at Jacquard.
