About the AuthorsRita Weiss has created many crafts books and is recognized as an authority on the history of needlework. She joined the American School of Needlework (ASN Publishing) in 1980 as Executive Vice President and was one of the first presidents of the International Quilt Association. Weiss currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Crochet Guild of America. Linda Causee never planned to become a quilter, although she enjoyed doing crafts, until she was hired to a local needlework publishing company to make models. Soon after which she was promoted to quilt editor. Causee fell in love with foundation piecing while editing a book on the subject. She has written many of her own books.
