About the AuthorIlene Bartos has always enjoyed creating and when she discovered quilting more than 10 years ago, she found it to be the perfect medium for her creative outlet. She lives in Iowa with her husband, Ron. They have three children and two wonderful grandchildren who are the joy of their hearts. She has displayed her quilts in various shows and has won a number of awards. She enjoys sharing her passion for quilting with others. Maple Leaf Quilts is her first book.
