Author Susan Teegarden DissmoreAbout the Author

Susan Teegarden Dissmore was taught to sew as a teenager growing up in eastern Washington. It wasn't until late 1994 (after opening a fabric shop) that she learned how to quilt. She soon began designing her own quilts, which gave her much delight. Her favorite quilts are scrap quilts that typically incorporate a multitude of fat quarters. She is a nonpracticing certified public accountant and lives in Federal Way, Washington, with her husband, Tim. They have two sons, Blake and Justin.
