About the Author

After making her first quilt in the late 1970s, Bonnie has been an avid quiltmaker. She has been teaching since the mid 1980s and was certified as a quilt judge in 1986. She judges and teaches for quilt guilds and conferences around the world. Her goal is to teach students techniques that they can use in future projects, and to enjoy the process.

Bonnie keeps busy as the executive show director of quit shows for the American Quilter's Society, and as a technical consultant for the AQS American Quilts television series. She has appeared on HGTV's Simply Quilts, PBS's Sew Young, Sew Fun, and the HGTV special, Quilts, Secrets Hidden in Fabric. She has authored nine books, published by AQS.

Bonnie lives in Paducah, Kentucky, with her husband, Wayne, and two spoiled cat, White Socks and Tuffy.
