About
the AuthorsThe Green Country Quilters Guild in Tulsa, Oklahoma, can be credited with bringing Linda Jenkins and Becky Goldsmith together. Their friendship developed while they worked together on many guild projects and through a shared love for applique. This partnership led to the birth of Piece O' Cake Designs in 1994 and survived Linda's move to Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and then back to Tulsa in 2001, while Becky headed for Sherman, Texas.
Linda owned and managed a beauty salon before she started quilting. Over the years she developed a fine eye for color as a hair colorist and makeup artist. Becky's degree in interior design and many art classes provided a perfect background for quilting. Linda and Becky have shown many quilts and have won numerous awards. Together they make a dynamic quilting duo and love to teach other quilters the joys of applique.
In the a fall of 2002 Becky and Linda joined the C&T Publishing family, where they continue to produce wonderful books and patterns.
