About the Author

Helen M. Stevens is an internationally respected textile artist whose beautiful silk embroidered pictures are held in collections around the world. Helen has undertaken lecture tours of Canada, the USA Australia and New Zealand, and teachers her embroidery skills through classes and workshops. Helen is a member of the Society of Women Artists— one of only three textile artists to be so honored. This is her ninth book to be published by David & Charles, and she is currently working on a new title for the popular Masterclass series.
