About
the AuthorGardens and quilting have been a constant inspiration to Jean Wells for decades. This talented quilter has written 27 books on quilting subjects, including Patchwork Quilts Made Easy and the new Oh Sew Easy soft furnishing series, developed in collaboration with her daughter Valori. All of Jean's books reflect her friendly, approachable teaching style and her love of color and design. As co-owner with Valori of The Stitchin' Post in Sisters, Oregon, Jean is in close contact with quilters of all levels, a connection she relishes for fresh ideas and inspiration. Jean's quilts have been featured on television shows and in magazines, and she has traveled the world teaching others the joy of quilting. At home, she enjoys being grandma to Braden and Olivia Rose; helping with the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, held annually the second Saturday in July; and simply puttering in her garden, coming up with more quilts to plant.
