About the Author

Julia Teters-Zeigler was an art major in college. She enjoyed smocking when her children were babies and continues to dabble in knitting, painting, and scrapbooking, but her true passion has always been quilting.

Julia currently works at the Quilted Dragon in Lakewood, Washington. She teaches and has a small pattern business. She is a member of the Association of Pacific Northwest Quilters, a charter member of the Washington Stars Quilt Guild, a member of the Comforters Quilt Guild, and a charter member of Quilters by the Bay.
