About the Author

After winning American Patchwork and Quilting Magazine's "Pieces of the Past" quilt challenge in 1998, Kim began designing quilts professionally and has seen her work published in several national magazines. She continues to design projects for the readers of American Patchwork and Quilting, and she has traveled to various parts of the country teaching her quiltmaking methods. Simple Traditions is Kim's second book with Martingale & Company.

Kim and her family make their home in Idaho, where they enjoy the clear blue skies and simple lifestyle that living in the Northwest brings.
