Rachels Basket Quilt

The interior of Rachel's Basket consists of 18 pieced basket blocks that you can make with Set B. The Log Cabin border is cut with our Log Cabin Ruler #8038 for 1" and 2" finished strip widths. Make the quilt 72" x 886" or 78" x 94". We recommend using our Diagonal Set Triangle Ruler #8968 for cutting the corner and setting triangles. The pattern also includes instructions for a Mini Baskets Crib Quilt, 35" x 42", to make with Set N, Set B and Log Cabin Ruler #8058 (for 5/8" and 1-1/4" strip widths). If you own the new small Full Diagonal Set Triangle Ruler, it's perfect for cutting corner and setting triangles. 34 page pattern booklet. Full size patterns included. This package includes both the Midnight Garden Wallhanging, 35 1/4" x 42 1/2", (template set N) and the Texas Star Quilt in Queen/Double, 82 1/2" x 114", (template set H).

These quilts are made in the "strippy" fashion. Texas Star blocks are set with pieced triangular units to make vertical panels.

Each panel is separated by panels of appliqué folk flowers. Illustrated instructions and full size detailed paper templates are included for each quilt.
