How do you introduce a software program to the quilting market and not have to reinvent the wheel? Jenny Haskins did just that by teaming with Quilt-Pro Systems and reintroducing a wonderful software under her new brand name Perfect Quilt Expressions Quilting Software Modules. This line consists of 5 outstanding modules: Perfect Quilt, Perfect Quilt Express, Easy Strip Piecing, Mariners Compass Collection, and 1200 Classic Foundations.

Many quilters want their quilting software to be easy-to-learn, at a good price, and something simpler than the big guys like Electric Quilt , Quilt-Pro and Perfect Quilt. They also want rotary cutting blocks for easy-to-make quilts PLUS Perfect Quilt Express has Templates and Foundation Block printing to meet the a broader range of needs for the traditional quilters.

Perfect Quilt Express is for the beginner quilter and/or the NEW to computer users or for the the traditional quilter who simply wants to quickly design a quilt, get rotary cutting instructions, templates or foundation block printouts, and then go quilt. This program has NO drawing tools.

There are quilt layout, block selection, filling patches with fabrics or solid colors and printing selection.

Design your quilt the Perfect Quilt Express way:

Note the simple to use Index tabs at the top of the screen and the help screen at the bottom.

If the help at the bottom is not enough, there is a Windows Explorer User Guide you can use as a reference and even printout if needed.

Simple selection of Quilt Settings gets you started:

NOTE: Up to 2 borders can be added to the layout

Select Your Block(s) & Setting on the same screen

Perfect Quilt Express 500+ block library features blocks that are conducive to rotary cutting, fast-piecing techniques and/or foundation piecing. Compare this to other CD's costing $29.95 that are block libraries only (the libraries are smaller too). These CDs do NOT have quilt layout, color and fabric selection, rotate block, and yardage calculation.

The blocks found in Perfect Quilt Express are the ones all quilters cut their teeth on and many of us still enjoy making them as gifts.

Remember, if you have any questions along the way, Perfect Quilt Express has on-screen instructions at the bottom of every screen and self-explanatory index tabs at the top of each screen to gently guide you along the path to designing your quilt.

Zoom tools:

• Every screen includes a set of Zoom tools and arrows (above on the left) that can be used to give distance and close-up view of the quilt and blocks as needed.
• The same bar allows you view the quilt on the screen by itself without the clutter of the work space libraries and buttons.

Perfect Quilt Express allows you to select blocks to make one block quilts, sampler quilts, or alternate block quilts. For the traditional quilter this is the standard faire for most quilts. The Sampler quilts offers the most flexibility for designing. (Look at the top of the graphic to see block layout choices)

Wow, the block screen is feature laden (note the buttons in above graphic):

• Select to layout quilt with the All 1 Block, Alternate, or Sampler and get started.
• Browse the Library folders and select a block.
• Click on the block in the library, then click on the block placement on the quilt.
• Once the blocks have been added to the quilt, begin playing with the block layout by using the Block Buttons that allow you to add, delete, rotate, flip and move to your hearts content.
• There are even Redo & OOPS buttons. The Redo button can go back 10 functions. Redo and OOPS offer flexibility to go return to something wonderful.

Select fabric and color

Perfect Quilt Express's fabric library has thousands of current market fabrics. You will also be able to keep your fabric library up-to-date with new fabric lines by downloading them from a special website. Or scan in your own fabrics! Wow, what a bonus for such a reasonably priced program.

Note how flexible your patch coloring/painting choices are:

• Paint by individual patch
• Paint all like patches at the same time
• To find a previously used fabric, select the match fabric button
• SCAN your own fabrics and bring into Perfect Quilt Express. This is a very powerful feature!
• Again, the redo button allows going back to previously fabric selections

Printing:

Perfect Quilt Express creates Rotary Cutting Charts. This is like having a book of instructions in hand with more project possibilities than any single book can offer. When you purchase Perfect Quilt Express at our low discounted price, compare the Perfect Quilt Express cost to the cost of a book, and you will know that Perfect Quilt Express is a real bargain!

Perfect Quilt Express does not include all the extra features like drawing your own block, layers, drawing tools or a wide variety of layout choices that sometimes can be daunting to the beginning computer quilter.

When you are ready to draw your own blocks and create more variation in your quilts using one of the big guys, the steps learned in Perfect Quilt Express will make the learning curve easier.
