About the Author
Brian Haggard is, among other things, a quilt artist living and working in Indianapolis, Indiana. Brian keeps himself busy creating original art in many media including quilting, embroidery, photography, and altered art. Brian's "day job" is working with his many clients as an interior designer and mural artist. For fun, Brian likes to hit the antique shops and quilt stores looking for ideas and embellishments for his work. The fabric, buttons, lace, old photos, keys, clocks and watches found on these trips are the inspiration for his art and will probably be seen on the next quilt. Brian has always loved old buttons and has recently turned collecting them into a hobby of its own. In fact, he is currently president of the Indianapolis Button Club. Brian shares his love of creativity in the classroom and seeing the joy his students experience as they create beautiful one of a kind pieces.
